Dear Randy,

Words can not express my deepest appreciation for the steps that you took in resolving my transmission troubles. I originally took the Jeep to J&M to check an engine oil leak. At that time you also noticed that, the transmission cooling lines needed replacing. You took that extra step. From you goodwill in resolving a future problem for me, it ended up causing you a monetary loss. It was very easy for you to say that the transmission was bad and give a me a bill for a new one. But, you didn't do that. Instead, you got other parties involved and resolved an issue for me.

It's very refreshing to meet and do business with a man who believes, "Honesty is the best policy." I am not the type of person who points fingers and says he did it or she did it. It has never been my style. I worked for AT&T for 30 years and dealt with customers all day. If there was a problem, my only concern was to resolve it, let the chips fall but please the customer. That is what you did, you pleased the customer.

When I buy a new car, I always send away for the Sevice Manual. I do not do my own repairs, but like to stay informed. If it makes you feel any better, no where does the 1994 Jeep Service Manual mention a check ball or caution when installing transmission cooler lines. If need be, I can share the manual with you.

Anyway, please accept this small token of appreciation. Take a break and go to lunch! It does'nt cover your loss, but it's my way of telling you "Thank You."

Dear Randy and Mike please post this on your website.

I have been a loyal customer of J&M since 1995. They have seen my old cars and my new ones. One time my Volvo died on the highway and used their towing service and towed it to J & M. I was thinking it would surely cost me several hundred dollars. Well that's what usually happens when your car dies on the highway and you take it to an auto repair shop. I was only charged $58 for a faulty wire, I was told the $58 charge was for the time it took them to find the problem. I became a devoted fan of J&M that day and have told everyone I know of their service and trust worthiness. As I said before, I thought they would have told me it's the alternator or the starter-like most other repair shops would have.

I will always recommend J&M Auto Repair to you and anyone who has ever over paid to have their car fixed. They have always taken care of anyone I send their way, they treat us like family. That's how you can expect to be treated by Randy or Mike or anyone of their loyal technitions.

One time I was talking to one of the guys and everyone who works there has been there for years. Loyalty is very hard to come by, but when you treat your workers right, they will be loyal and in turn treat their customers right.

Dear Randy and MIke,

My boyfriend raves about your honesty and service. Now I know what he means. The other day my tire was almost flat and my boyfriend followed me to the gas station and he put air in my tire. He suggested I take it to J&M. I had to go and teach a Cardio Kick class and later on noticed it was starting to go down again.

I called my boyfriend and he insisted I call you guys. I called and you asked me to come in right away and I did not even have to wait, you took care of my tire right away. I was more surprised by the price, I thought it would have been a lot more. Thanks for your honesty. I too am now a big fan. You guys ROCK!
